Tips for safe and efficient candle use.
 
Trim the Wick
To ensure a clean and prolonged burn, trim the wick to 1/8" before lighting. You can use scissors or a wick trimmer for best results.

Avoid "Tunneling"
Prevent tunneling by allowing the wax to melt to the jar's edges during each burn. This is especially crucial during the first lighting.

Be Safe
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and limit each burn to a maximum of 4 hours. To protect surfaces from heat, use a coaster, tile or any non-flammable sturdy base underneath your candle.

Be Aware of Extinguishment
Avoid burning your candle when only 1/4"  wax remains. Lighting a nearly empty candle can cause the jar to overheat.
